Terms of Service

By accessing or using KickIt (kickit.be-promo.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

KickIt is a free tool that allows people to create informal event invitations, share them via a short link, and collect RSVPs — optionally with a Google Calendar free/busy check. The service is provided "as is" without any guarantees of uptime or availability.

• Organisers authenticate via Magic Link (email) or Google OAuth. No password is required or stored.
• You are responsible for keeping your magic-link emails confidential. Do not forward them to others.
• One account per email address. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
• Guests do not need an account — they identify themselves only by the name they provide when submitting an RSVP.

You agree not to use KickIt to:

• Create events that promote illegal activity, hate speech, or harassment.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) via the invite/reminder feature.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' events or accounts.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise harvest data from the platform in an automated way.
• Impersonate another person or organisation when creating events or RSVPs.
• Use the service to collect personal data without appropriate disclosure to attendees.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

• You are solely responsible for the content of events you create.
• Event pages are publicly accessible via a short link. Do not include sensitive personal information (home addresses, private phone numbers, etc.) in event descriptions.
• We do not review event content proactively. If you believe an event violates these terms, contact us at admin@be-promo.com.

• The Google Calendar feature requests only the calendar.freebusy scope — free/busy information only, no event details.
• By connecting your Google Calendar, you consent to KickIt reading your free/busy availability for the sole purpose of determining your availability for the specific event you are responding to.
• You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions.

The KickIt name, logo, and interface design are the property of their respective owners. Event content you create remains yours. By posting content, you grant KickIt a limited, non-exclusive licence to display it as part of operating the service.

KickIt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed events, data loss, or service interruptions.

We make no guarantees about uptime. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active organisers of significant changes.

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is based.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
